Rebalance and reconnect sessions help you to become consciously aware of how you are handling life and guide you to find ways to make changes that work for you.
During sessions you will reconnect with your internal experiences on all levels, identifying the unconscious patterns you use to respond to situations in your life. Developing awareness of your thoughts, emotions and physical responses, allows you to see if your unconscious patterns are reducing stress, tension, fatigue and depression or increasing the challenges you experience and creating greater complexity in your life.
I will guide you to identify the patterns in your life that create stress, tension and that impact your health and well-being. Once these patterns are in your awareness, you will create new ways of responding to the inevitable stress of life and learn to live well, irrespective of what you are experiencing in the outside world.
I have been a psychotherapist for over ten years, working in a variety of different settings. I am a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). Membership Number 781368.
I am formally trained in a number of psychotherapeutic models including, Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural therapy. In addition, I have undertaken a wide range of other therapeutic training to extend my knowledge and skills. I am a certified Aromatherapist, Reflexologist, Reiki Master Teacher and 'Soul Midwife', specialising in working with the dying.
Alongside my formal certification, I have independently studied and experienced a variety of embodied practices, to support me in understanding the body and how it interacts with our mind and emotions. This includes contemplative, meditative and mindfulness practices, breath awareness, visualisation, neuroscience, somatic movement, shamanic practices and the philosophy of yoga.
I work deeply with the Gene Keys and I am training to be a Gene Keys Guide. The Gene Keys are wisdom teachings synthesised by Richard Rudd that have supported my own personal development and the development of my practice. I am interested in the developing field of consciousness. Specifically developing our conscious awareness to live an intentional life. Understanding how we reflect the natural world around us and learning to live in greater connection to nature and in community with one another.
