Bringing awareness to the processes of the mind
Learning the art of contemplation. Contemplative practice is a way of approaching our experience that has been used across many cultures for thousands of years.
It is reflected in different teachings and can be seen in shamanic practices and all of the major religious traditions. It is about slowing down, creating space, making connections, seeing patterns and allowing new ideas, insights and ideas to shift and change our perceptions and behaviours.
It is helpful, because it allows us to develop our awareness of patterns and slow down our automatic responses. It gives us time to connect with our emotions, listen to our bodies, have insight and create change. It is one of the greatest tools to help us to create balance in our lives and learn the art of living well.
During our sessions, we will discuss different aspects of contemplation and practice using them. You can then take these practices into your daily life, allowing your contemplation to unravel patterns in your mind, emotions and body.
'Contemplation engages the power of mind, emotion and body, it fuses and uses their energy to bring about an increased state of self-awareness, freedom and general prosperity'.
